Concept
Aestas is a perfume that was created as a packaging design group project. My own contribution to the finalized product are the illustrations that are used in the label, the packaging design, and the paper insert. Adhering and expanding on the pre-existing brand Diptyque, Aestas transports the user to the Italian coastline with its use of bright summer scent notes and illustrations of the Mediterranean scenery.

Final
After reconsidering our use of color within the packaging design, we decided to adhere to Diptyque's application of color for their existing limited edition labels. By using yellow as our accent color, Aestas's summer story is further enforced. The box was designed to reflect a book cover to also support the importance of the perfume's story in accordance to Diptyque's product creation process.
Project Learnings
Aestas was my first group project outside of a classroom setting. It was a practice in organizing meeting times and guiding creative direction so that our group could effectively collaborate for the perfume packaging design. For my own design contributions, I gained experience sketching in Procreate, honed my photography skills, and helped craft the packaging prototype.
